MY guess is that the pips are not pure long pips, but on the other hand, I have seen Joo do some amazing strokes with his BH that just don't compute. And there was a legend here that played in Philly two decades ago that had some amazing stories told about his control as well. With terminal cancer a week from death at over 60 years old, he beat a 2500 player.

One thing though, I have never seen an LP blocker type player that had full control of his LP side. At times, they always seem to make strokes that went wildly off target when they appeared to be in position for a simple retuen.
Yes, that is because it is hard to tell exactly how the pips will bend and if they will grab except in a few cases. The LP punch blocker knows how his pips will react very well.
