Oh my goodness. Seattle coach just matched Vivarelli back on Sung BY CHOICE after Sung was put out as the first player in the rotation. I want to rip my eyeballs out. Unless the idea was to only lose one point at 3-0 but then you essentially guarantee you're losing a potential golden point.

It worked, as amazing as it sounds - Vivarelli split with two long serves!

A positive development, but I expect CBS isn't paying much for the rights.

It's on CBS Sports, not CBS, so a sports channel that many people don't get because its an extra on most TV packages.

Current schedule shows a 1 hour time slot between bull riding and poker. This means they will likely only show highlights. I hope they continue to have the full live feed on youtube.

This block of programming is clearly considered filler content for the network. The money making content is NCAA hoops.

MLTT has Power Rankings of the players, but they also have their own SPINDEX Ratings (Explanation). which only looks at singles records. Liam Pitchford(2876) is at the top of the ratings. Kotomi Omoda(2610) edges out Hong Lin(2601) as the highest rated female ... somehow they accidentally listed Wei Wang and Seunghwan Lee as female. Anyway, interesting to see where the players are rated at.

Pitchford showing his class in match 1 of Texas vs Florida

Amy and Mati could get ugly but you never know in MLTT

I don't find either particularly creative... why would you describe either of them as that lol...
Recognizing that you saw my earlier post about it being Texas vs Florida and were probably aware I was referring to Nandan

- wide variety of serve motions and serve types, very effective spinny and fast serves with good deception
- above goes for receives
- ability to play spinny and flat even within the same points
- ability to change between fast and slow and adapt and force different speeds
- effective at all distances
- strong offense and defense, both near and far from table and topspin defense and underspin at times

We can agree to disagree, my Mikayla face is too strong here lol.

Andy Perreira should audition for a Hulk Smash role lol...

Do you disagree with my assessment or my criteria for what a creative player is?
I don't see his game the same way you do. I think a lot of it is more sloppy defense and technique that works against worse players than inherently creative. His game is largely straightforward, he just has bailouts when late to or surprised by the ball. I might change my opinion later but I am inherently unimpressed.
