I don't see his game the same way you do. I think a lot of it is more sloppy defense and technique that works against worse players than inherently creative. His game is largely straightforward, he just has bailouts when late to or surprised by the ball. I might change my opinion later but I am inherently unimpressed.
It's a valid perspective but I've seen it work effectively to change games against high level players in the WTT U19 scene. Will definitely see how things develop especially as he fully acclimates to his 6'3 frame.

Good that Amy came back strong in the GG, but as a pro, she's gotta be ready to go from the beginning. Matilda should not being sweeping Amy in singles.
I would say she shouldn't even be in a close match with her let alone sweeping but I am definitely a bit biased against Matilda

Hodaei on an absolute tear lately, scared for his opponents at this point
Hodaei is a top 5 player in the league but unfortunately had a significant knee operation early in the season which he is starting to get back from. But by lately do you mean this weekend? Because at the last match weekend he lost 0-3 to Angles, Kim and Olah.

Lebesson kills Kasahara.

BTW, why is in his prime Hodaei in MLTT? Is he trying to accelerate his aging?
Well he joined MLTT and needed a knee surgery soon after, so...

On the topic of prime Hodaei, if he gets back to 100% just in time, chances are good for Texas to return to the final. They have one of if not the best doubles pair in the league, the best tactical coach in the league, and a knack for the GG. Them and Carolina seem like favorites.

Credit where credit is due, as Mati takes Lily 2-1 today. Both Amy and Lily struggled to adapt to her slow game, and she executed much better than usual. Back to training perhaps?

Mati said in her post game interview that she went to Sweden to train a bit.

Vivarelli gets a game off Aida. Incredible.
Yep, that was a shocker for me as well. Adi had a great night as well for Seattle sweeping Hong Lin (not an easy task) and going 5-3 with Enzo. Eugene pretty much owned Kou Lei tonight.

Portland had a good night and win their 2nd golden game of the weekend. They're within 10 points of taking over 1st place in the West, but they will have to do it against league leading Carolina Gold Rush tomorrow.

So what do we think about that yellow card for Adi Sareen against Hong Lin? Honestly that was harsh but I’m glad he got the sweep
They have serve clocks in MLTT. Depends on what you think about the explanation for the delay.

If there really was a ball kid still on the court then that’s a valid reason for Adi to stop play I think. But in the end it doesn’t matter since he ended up winning the point
