im still catching up but the result has been finalized, his serve contact is annoying me at the moment
He has been serving that way for decades, it is and has been ridiculous that he isn't faulted almost every time.

Atlanta Blazers trade Minhyung Jee and a Season 4 draft pick to the Portland Paddlers for Rachel Sung. Portland is in first place in the West, while Atlanta is in last place in the East. I guess Jee will be the female backup to Kotomi Omoda, and Rachel will do the same for Andrea Todorovic. That's the first completed trade this season, and we'll see whether there will be any others.

Is there still a required minimum number of US resident (citizen, permanent resident, or similar) players on each team's roster? I remember that being 3 in the beginning. If so, does that still apply in trades? Portland will have 2 (Nikhil Kumar & Sid Naresh) and Atlanta will have 2 (Rachel & Tom Feng, perhaps also Jiwei Xia?). Maybe there are other players on those teams who qualify, that I don't know about yet.

MLTT's free match is tonight 10:30 PM Eastern - Smash vs Paddlers

First up is at 7:00 PM - Spinners vs Blazers

...

Lol, hilarious celebration with Madrid and Robinot after sweeping doubles with G3 comeback.

The format is still good. Kinda crazy how a team can go up a bunch first few matches then even it back up just like that. Golden Game time!

...

1 hour until the free match! Miss the good ol' days of Youtube but it's still an exciting league.

wow, sid and nikhil are getting really really good together in doubles.

Both LA and Portland overcame slow starts (both losing the first 5 games) and a 1-point deficit going into the Golden Game.
Tough luck for Atlanta, losing the GG after starting with a 1-point lead for the 4th time this (their 1st) season.

LA RPB has some nice videos about MLTT, with translations (from Korean to English) to added to some of them.

It's not the German Bundesliga, but crowds are starting to come out in the USA for MLTT.

LA Spinners bring the drama almost every match. If Kou Lei were playing better they'd probably be one of the stronger teams, but as it is they have to struggle for every win.

Rachel Sung wins the Golden Game and team match for Atlanta with 2 pts in a row against roommate Amy Wang. Right before that, Tom Feng won a bunch of big points against Ghosh.

Texas had the lead entering the GG in each match this weekend but lost them all, including an ultimate golden point vs LA. I believe all of Atlanta's wins have been in the final match of the weekend.

Portland is stacked so strong! And not even Kang Dongsoo was there…

Let’s hope they hold their nerve in playoffs
It's a team effort, but I have to hand it to Jens Lundqvist. The 46 yr old Swede is leading the Power Rankings with a 12-3 record.
