Portland wins 21-19 in the golden game to move to the final. Carlos Hernandez (as a sub for Portland) did surprisingly well against Olah, both in their singles match and in the golden game (which included a 4-0 sweep in one of their series).

The other semi will start in about an hour, between Carolina and Chicago.

I am sure they are happy they won today, but they really should have won yesterday as well, something went really wrong for them, probably the women's match yesterday was impossibly difficult to overcome.

Rough weekend for Mo Zhang. She got swept yesterday by Chen Sun and also got swept today by Jiangshan Guo. But she somewhat made up for it in today's Golden Game going 4-1 vs. Jiangshan Guo.

Fun match to watch. but when you need to rely on Carlos vs Kai to win your title, then you know you are in trouble. One team survived it though. If Hampus had been around, this would likely have been no contest - but maybe the overdog pressure would have gotten to him...
