Major League Table Tennis (MLTT)

Aruna is currently injured. I’m not sure what injury it is and how long it will take for him to recover

Not injured. Just in post-surgery recovery with the goal of being optimal for MLTT season.

Do you know what surgery he did? I saw on IG he went to India to get something done?

I heard through the grapevine that it was a minor issue that bothered him that the doctors offered to help him address so he accepted.

Hope Aruna can play in the opening matches. Atlanta needs him to play better than last season.

I don't know if this continues throughout the season, but the season opening weekend (Sept 11-13) will be livestreamed for free on MLTT's YouTube Channel.

MLTT will also be on DAZN

TableTennisTV has shut down and it’s been replace by DAZN and they are going back on Youtube.

Can anyone confirm whether all the matches will be free on Youtube. Theres mentioned of DAZN and 200 countries but I was able to watch the livestreams on Youtube.

Their business model for the last season was not right. They should stick with how WTT/ITTF deal with the livestreams where the well-know countries are paid and those smaller countries where Table Tennis is not a national sport free.

Thats how they can keep the balance of paid and free.

I’m just glad it’s free again on Youtube.

Nandan pulled a Wang Yang, interestingly against chopper Wei Wang and after winning the first 2 games easily before losing the 3rd game 11-9. Amy Wang left early (after playing just the 1st day of the weekend, it seems) so Texas didn’t have any other players and Nandan’s 7 points in the golden game were forfeited. Texas still won though, against Atlanta without Aruna (who also left early).
