Modern rubber similar to Joola energy X-tra.

Hello everyone.
One old timer I know is trying to get back into the game, but he's way out of loop when it comes to gear. The blade he's using is a Stiga Off Classic and for the rubbers he wants to buy the above Joola energy x-tra. I'm sure he'd be alright with this setup, but since he hasn't played in 6+ years and his health got worse.
I'm a little worried that this setup may be a bit slow and he'll struggle to get much power out of it.
Once upon a time he used Tenergy64, but it's expensive and he switched out from it to the X-tra.

The thing with this Joola rubber, from what I understand is that it's got a particular feeling(speed glue kinda) when hitting the ball and that it's rather soft..
Is there anything more modern/up-to-date that's similar, but a bit faster?

Check out the Joola Rhyzen Ice. It might be something that could work. Or the Pimplepark Epos to be more economic.

It's just an alternative. I don't think that you can get a faster rubber than Energy xtra without going into the price range of Tenergy. Joola Rhyzen Fire and CMD or just a little faster and cheaper than Energy xtra, but you never know the true speed of a rubber until you test it out.
