Yeah, WCQ's racket thing definitely got into his head too much. He misses very badly and way more often than usjal when the rally gets fast, which happens whenever I change equipment. It's because you're trying to make micro adjustments to compensate for perceived equipment differences.
In the end it's all on him though. He's not changing to a Viscaria. He's using a setup of very similar feel and definitely the same weight, and he's shown in the beginning of the match that he can do just fine in faster rallies. The issue is that after he loses the first set and gets down in the 2nd he starts doubting his equipment. You can't do that, you just need to play your game.
Truls made a lot of mistakes as well, more so than the spectacular shots he made, which usually results in a loss against a more steady CNT player. He toughened up when the game got tight, which he usually does, and took full advantage of the shaky WCQ performance.
