On table 1, women's singles preliminary round: representing Chile, Zeng Zhiying against Mariana Sahakian, representing Lebanon. But here's the kicker: the combined age of the players is 104! Incredible, a 58 year old vs a 46 year old. I'm genuinely, genuinely proud for both of them to play for their flag at the Olympics. But at the same time, if your sport is doing well, there are probably younger people fighting for the Olympic medals.

Wow some incredibly high drama in that 4th game. Hari Hina did a great job bringing it to deuce but couldn't close it out with about 3 game points. Hayata seems to be the weak link today missing a ton of shots she usually makes.

They need to win the next 3 games.
