Dan here,

we've recently got into contact with Chinese national table tennis players Xu Xin, Fan Zhendong and Yan An and will be conducting interviews with them. We now want users to tell us what questions they want asked to each player. If you had the opportunity to ask them each one question what would it be? Give us your best questions and we'll try to fit as many as possible into the interviews.

Xu Xin: What do you do in your days off to relax, do you have any other hobbies?

Fan Zhendong: Do you feel you will be able to become the World number 1 by overtaking Ma Long and Zhang Jike

What do you do against nervousness during the game?
Because if im in an important match, especially in doubles ( because i dont want to dissapoint my partner ), i get nervous and fail shots wich i usually hit easily on the table. Thats a big problem for me sometimes.

Yan An: Why did you lose 4:0 against Xu Xin in the World Cup this year, was it because of particular reasons? (e.g. light, table) How much does this influence your game?

Question for Xu Xin

What footwork exercises do you do (concrete examples would be nice)? In modern day table tennis what are the main things a penhold player must be especially good at to hold his own against a shakehand player (assuming both players are of similar strength)? How do you do the forehand flick (not the backhand banana flick but the forehand flick which Xu Xin can do, albeit rarely)? With reverse penhold backhand is it recommended to completely give up the traditional penhold block for amateur players, or to use both techniques?

Questions are for Xu Xin only, as you have probably guessed I am a penhold player!

Equipment: What do they use blade and rubbers and if the consider changing blades or rubbers do the coaches have an opinion in the decision?

Xu Xin: Do you feel you have been in the shadow of Ma Long and Zhang Jike, because they have been peaking right moments before big tournaments?

Fan Zhendong: Do you feel any pressure from the coaches or media regarding the thought you probably will the next prophecy in the CNT? Who has been your mentor through your journey and do you think you could be the next world champion in 2015?

Yan An: You have been important contender on the Ningbo Team through the CTTSL. I see you have improved a lot since last year. How is it to be team mates with Ma Long and what are your goals for the next season?
