I used that blade for a month or so a few years ago and absolutely hated it. I just couldn’t get the spin I was used to getting with my TSP balsa, are really struggled to lift backspin with it. Eventually I gave it away and went back to what I knew.

At the end of the day everyone plays differently and that review may have been perfectly rational for him, I’d have probably scored it lower!

I think we have different stroke and we have different quality of the same product, but sometimes revspin is very helpful

I prefer long detailed reviews where the reviewer explains their background, style, and skill level, most frequently used equipment, etc... at the beginning of the review.

At least that helps me understand if the reviewer would have a similar opinion to me. Especially if the reviewer’s past reviews match my own opinions of equipment that I have used in the past.

It’s kind of like finding a movie or restaurant reviewer who has the same taste as your own. Their opinion is of more value than some random reviewer.

I think many has covered the main pointers
I personally feel if you have poor quality reviews, the whole review/rating is not correct.

Poor quality may not link to the actual quality or hard work of the review, but rather how the reviewer understands equipment, has the technical ability to utilize the equipment etc.
also, certain blade for example are designed to be paired with certain rubbers for certain style.
So A to be paired with 2 and to be used with @@ style = perfect combination
now change it to A paired with 3 and used with @# style = horrible combination - just an example

therefore first review will say awesome, 2nd review will say awful,

Therefore, one can never know the quality of review on these public platforms
