Beware of using a Disney character's name in NYC, I've heard two lawyers will jump out of a trash bin and sue you 😃
We were aiming for a ALL+, linear and with a solid feeling, so I used a light core.Piece of art. Was it meant to be to be an OFF , or...

mr. Hipnotic,
have you ever made cpen blades?
curious about a possible lyj szlc clone, or something like a w968 clone.
Yes I have.
A beauty. Why is it built that way?
Mostly because the owner wanted it this way, the composition and handle design originated from his concept. The goal was to have a not too fast combi blade meant for SP on the Fh, with a more direct trajectory, and a safer arc on the Bh.
In addition to Hipnotic's comment. It's basically a combination of 3 blades that suited me, Hinoki for the pips, inner carbon for the backhand and Balsa to add some bounce and reduce weight.A beauty. Why is it built that way?
I haven't been posting a lot of penhold blades, that's my fault, I will try to do it more often. This one is a very light specimen, very stiff but relatively soft due to the AxC fiber. The low weight brings the speed down a bit, but it's still a very fast blade in the bottom of the OFF+ range.
Available FS.
- Kiso Hinoki / AxC / Kiri / AxC / Kiso Hinoki
- 74.6g
- 7.4mm
- 160x150mm
- CS (82x25x33mm)
- 1745Hz
- balance: 3.3cm

Wow, this is super light for this thickness and everything. Even with a balsa core this would be pretty light. It's basucally a penhold Schlager ALC super light edition.

Something like that 😅
Using them, no need to be afraid.....playing against....whole different story!Sergey Tsos Scoobie Doo is NOT afraid of SDC blades, he liked the original Spartan, then when he hit with the newer Mandalorian, he knew immediately it was a winner capable of touch and power play. I had to use a hydraulic press to get the Mandalorian outta hiz pawz.
