If you currently use the Viscaria and T05, whilst playing at a decent level (which I think you do?)….. I’m not sure you are going to feel much difference with any set up unless you go much much slower and just spin the absolute hell out of everything.

Moving from T05 to D09C I noticed it was much slower in passive play, but gave me more options close to the table (better touch, less bouncy).

But I’m not sure I’ve used any rubber that gives me easier access to a lot of spin than T05 does.

The effort required for a really spinny shot is pretty minimal.

If you want to go noticeably spinnier, you are going to need to start looking at the tacky options like H3 (boosted) or alternatives.

In a perfect world, you’d probably ditch the Viscaria for a slower blade as well - But what exactly is this for?

Is it for your main set up in the league? Or just a mess around bat?

Do you feel like you need tiny tweaks to get what you want? Or bigger changes?

I just want a more controlled blade which will help with getting more spin at slower speeds

I was maybe thinking innerforce ZLC or ZLF, or even Timo Boll ZLF, or Tiago Apolonia ZLC or Franziska ZLC

What is it about Viscaria you do not like? I have used Apolonia before for over 2 years and I can tell you ALC has more control. I have tested various blades over the past 1.5 years during covid times, originally was using Apolonia for 2 years before deciding g to test various blades such as Innerforce layer ALC, Harimoto ALC, Mizutani ZLC and currently am using Lin Gaoyuan ALC which is same construction as Viscaria and I’m very very happy with it.

also in the past I have used T80 and T05 on fh before changing to D09C on fh purely for the less noun ones in short game. I had used D09C for 1.5 yrs until trying H3 provincial and I love H3 even more.

it all depends on your style and what u do not like about your current set up of Viscaria and T05. Saying you want more spin is vague as T05 is very easy to generate spin with anyway and doesn’t need technique or bigger swing that D09C, D05 or H3 need. With T05 u can generate good spin with less effort than u can with H3 so again it depends on what your problem is, is it technique or you looking for a change etc…

Do you find Viscaria too fast for you?

I have Lin Gaoyuan ALC which has same construction as Viscaria but softer feel, more dwell and bit slower. The other options is Innerforce ALC/Harimoto ALC which has very good control, exceptional at blocking and good dwell but it will be slower than Viscaria that you are currently using.
the Franziska ZLC is supposed to be softer and more controlled than Apolonia and apparently better at blocking which is one of the things I found unstable with Apolonia. But ZLC is far more expensive than ALC and I have used both and prefer ALC and especially Lin Gaoyuan ALC I currently have been using now for 4 months.

How long does your dignics 09C last? may I know. I've been looking to upgrade but since it's pricy, I'm trying to figure out the balance between the price and it's longetivity. I know it all depends on how much you play. I just want something reliable which I can use for as long as possible despite the cost.
And one more thing I'd like to ask in addition is the difference in longetivity between H3 (basically either provincial BS/national BS) and 09C.
Thanks in advance.

I think you’ll find that moving away from T05 will give you that feeling.

T05 is fantastic when you are feeling good, playing well and confident with each shot.

I found it was incredibly unforgiving if you weren’t on your game, and it’s super sensitive to incoming spin.

Dignics is better in both of these aspects (09C is very good, but much harder and requires more effort, and 05 is a bit more direct whilst offering a deceptive amount of spin.

But then there’s also the whole…… Do you just want to change to get something new? If so, that’s fine.

Since I came back to the sport in 2015, I’ve used:

Schlager Carbon
Garaydia ZLC
Tibhar VS Unlimited
Harimoto ALC
TB ALC
Ovtcharov ALC

My results have got better year on year, which isn’t supposed to highlight the advantages of each blade, but more to show that you can really use what you like the look of….. and it will be fine!

I pretty much buy what I like the look of these days, and as long as it’s OFF, I’ll be fine.

I’m sure the same would apply to you as well.

I think I will stick to T05 as I like the spin and speed or Dignics 05 and change blade to Tiago blade or Patricks
