Wang Hao played amazing in the doubles finals. Yan An was the weaker player in the doubles but they still managed to win against the WR1 and 2.

I've been very disappointed with the amount of people watching. So many spaces. I thought table tennis was quite popular in Sweden? Obviously not.

I always wounder why the sport of table tennis will never advertise stadium size/capacity and never advertise amount of spectators present
I guess maybe the numbers is too poor, so organisers rather hide it.
World tours are generally poorly attended....sad and shocking

I would like to ask the Swedes - does all people know of this open?
Does all TT social players know of it?
Does all TT club players know of it?

i have a question about the double team compination
i used to see Ma Long and Xu Xin played as a team for a while then ML starts to play with ZJ and XX plays with FZD
is this according to the coaches or according to players them selves ?

Some of those shots that FZD pulled off were incredible, including the around the net edge that he got. His backhand is still dangerous and he will soon be world #1 if you ask me. The kid has the makings of a long career

We had a small discussion about that 2nd around the table in the chat room, some of us were confused how it counts as an edge and not side. Correct me if Im wrong but if the ball travels in an upward motion then it is edge as you cannot get the same rising ball from hitting the side?

No matter how much spin you launch on the ball, with that power, the ball will bounce back if it hits to the side, of course, back and upward. If the ball bounce forward and upward as the one in the video, it is definitely the edge ball.

Hi Tony. Great questions I have wondered this to. Interestingly, yesterday when Sweden's Kristian Karlsson played Xu Xin the arena was completely packed out. I actually couldnt get a seat

I think because the final day only had Asian players only the hardcore fans stayed to watch. I think if Kristian defeated Xu Xin.. the stadium would of been full today. But I agree somehow these tournaments need to become full because they are fantastic.

World Tours such as the German Open are always full but I guess again this is because they are the host nations supporting Boll and Ovtcharov.
