superb victory of SHIBATA Saki vs ZHANG Rui

SHIBATA is the rising player among the Japanese. I think she is much more aggressive than most of hear colleagues, and she is absolutely fierce and fearless. I'm really impressed and want to see more of her playing against the top Chinese players.

This main draw (on men's side) might see the most number of Chinese players in recent years. There are 4 seeded Chinese players already in the main draw, plus 5 unseeded who might well qualify. If they do, this Swedish open is starting to feel more like Chinese super league... I feel like there's a good chance that all four players in the semifinal round could be Chinese.

Notes:
- Tough draws for Fan Zhendong, Ma Long and Ding Ning!
- Especially the top quarter of the men's draw is INSANE: Five CNT players including Fan, Ma and Liang Jingkun
- Fan Zhendong could very possibly face CNT opponents in ALL matches in this event!

- The three South Korean male players are all placed in the same 1/8 of the draw :(
- Good news for the host nation: Sweden already has at least one player qualified for the Round of 16 :)

That draw is pretty insane, FZD and ML are the favorites but so many players capable of causing an upset- Pitchword, Jang Woojin, Robert Gardos

That upper bracket omg... And poor Liu Dingsuo i am cheering for him but its alredy over.

This match should be a cracker (there's a pun somewhere, with what the balls are going to endure).

What a tournament.

Also, go Can!!
