Hey buddy, I created a new playlist on my Youtube channel called The Pongcast TV and have added all your videos and will continue to do so. I still hold the opinion that your videos are great for table tennis and need a lot more attention

I hope so to, lots of the public have watched our videos and i'm sure it's definately inspired more people to play TT. It has made more active users to TTD I have noticed. I think 2013 is the year of TT!

Sorry I just recovered from a sudden and long illness the past few days...

I actually had to look it up, I started the Pongcast around 1.5 years ago. It started w/ audio podcasts with interviews of notable people related to the sport. It didn't get many listens (podcasts are a niche to start with), so I decided to try doing YouTube videos instead.

It's just myself, a one man operation. But the highlight YouTube videos that I source from are a huge help, and I'm really thankful they gave me permission to use them. Otherwise it would be way too time consuming to rip live feeds myself and then grab highlights from entire 30-60 minute matches. I've toyed w/ the idea of 'hiring' someone to help sort through highlights to save additional time though, we'll see.

In the final hour of finishing this episode my computer stopped working for a whole day!

But after that delay Episode 23 is finally here: the Austrian Open, plus Timo Boll's visit to Hollywood, ping-pong dating, and Jun Mizutani's boycott.

As it turns out, my Austrian Open predictions were way off.

Finally another episode on the Qatar Open! Some results, plus I talk about a new trend I'm seeing with Ma Long. Plus Project Runway gets into table tennis fashion, Adam Bobrow joins entertainment news show Extra TV to play on the streets of Los Angeles, and a few minutes in Timo Boll's shoes as he goes to practice.

It's the last ITTF event before the World Championships, and a good test to see where the pros stand as they try to peak at the right time. The US women make a rare appearance, and China teams up to experiment in the doubles. Plus Judah Friedlander from 30 Rock and British royalty make an appearance!
