Hey, wait, I thought TTDaily was banned. I feel gypped. We earned the distinction of being banned, and yet this video plays.

Damien is truly hell spawn just like from the movies. We are all in trouble.

Perhaps it is an even better indication that he is delusional and thinks we are dumb enough not to realize he's trying to yank our chain. But this weirdo is so comical, it is fun to have him around.

I mean, he actually wants us to think that he thinks that purse is a racket.

But we know he is just a clown trying to rile people up. And his silly purse is just a ruse to get people to argue. Whether it exists or not doesn't even matter. But my guess is, the purse/racket doesn't actually exist.

It is well past time to blow this thread up and sink it into Davey Jones' Locker...

Sorry but I fall asleep right after 1 minute into the video in a broad day light. I think the choice of music and visual has a deep purpose.

Why can't one generate spin and speed with the ARB paddle? I see is as being yet another paddle like c-pen or shake hands.

Prove to me you can generate more spin with your current paddle more than the ARB paddle. Prove to me you can generate more speed. It really is just a matter of what kind of paddle you are familiar. People play with shake hands paddle and c-pen paddles interchangeably. I have seen it. It does not make much difference to their style of play because that is more of a mental thing. It doesn't change their foot work or the ability to chose the right stroke at the right time.

I don't believe there is anything the ARB blade does to improve response or any other claims. It is just another paddle, no more no less. What is so wrong about the ARB paddle? Explain in terms of generating less spin or less speed.

The ARB chess system would take almost all computer chess programs out of their opening book which is a big advantage for a human player but ARB would have to be a good chess player to beat Hiarcs if set to its highest setting.

How do you achieve spin on serve with this purse? Does it also carry lipstick? My GF is very interested, but she does not play TT.

Knowing so much about your Girlfriends purse is a bit Suspect! :( Regarding how you achieve Spin Strap your GF Lips to the Blade surface and proceed to Serve! :)

A.R.B Has Beat a much Stronger Chess Program/Engine than Hiarcs on it's Highest level :)

Hiarcs 14 ELO Rating is = 3066
Stockfish 6 ELO Rating is = 3304

http://www.computerchess.org.uk/ccrl/4040/rating_list_all.html

Below shows Stockfish is No.1

@ Pnachtwey: hey, the design of the blade might be just fine. I don't know. I would actually have to try it. But, the real issues are:

1) there is nothing wrong with the present handle.

2) There really isn't much that is different between this design and the pistol design.

3) As you get to a higher level and are used to subtle adjustments of the grip for different shots, they become second nature and that versatility is really useful. I am not so sure that versatility would be the case with this kind of handle. But, hey, I've never tried it.

But the versatility I am talking about with a regular handle, comes from the fact that you can turn the angle of the blade face by how your index finger and thumb grip the blade face while the handle can turn in your palm.

Because the ARB handle is parallel to the surface of the blade face, I am pretty sure you can't do what I am talking about to get more hook, more inside-out, more open or more closed on either the forehand or the backhand. All those adjustments have to come only from the wrist on the ARB blade design. And the versatility of the traditional grip is pretty worth while. It allows someone like Timo Boll to use completely different grips for forehand and backhand. It allows Zhang Jike to use an extreme backhand grip. It allows Ma Long to use a forehand grip.

I am not sure but it definitely looks like this rotational adjustment of the grip isn't possible with the ARB handle.

A side note: the handle for penhold is not really any different from the shakehand except the length. They are different ways to hold the same basic handle. And the shorter penhold handle is just an adaptation. Penhold players originally used shakehand rackets before they designed the shortened handle.

This is a completely different handle and the restriction on the angles at which you can have the blade face in relation to your arm could be potentially limiting.

But the whole subject is kind of boring. Damion, TTfanForEver and Mr ARB are the same person and clearly just trying to rile people up. If he was interested in any kind of meaningful discussion the information he was presenting would be very different .
