But I doubt it will be very accurate. It will probably have ”dimensional bias”, in other words the direction of spin will matter. But anyway it’s probably a good device. We shall see if I will use it sometime.

Thanks for the offer - I will take you up on ut. Is the Android issue really that bad? It can't work on the Samsung Ultra phones? I have wanted to buy this for two years now and that is my barrier.

So essentially Android smartphone manufacturers don't provide reliable access to 240 fps high speed video functionality for normal Apps.

• Often it doesn't provide any access.


• If you have access it's often not fully functional.


• Even if it's functional it's not reliable.


Currently, there is no official Android Version that offers measurement funtion. The Spinsight app measurement function is only available on iPhone 13 and newer models.

But there is a closed beta Android version for measurement. To test the compatibility of your device, please visit this website:
Android Getting Started.

If the compatibility test is successful, you can use a second device as usual. Please note that the measurement quality for the Android closed beta version may be limited and we cannot guarantee that the measurement will work.

We would obviously for many reasons love it to work on Android like it does on many IPhone models but as of yet this isn’t the case.

When I opened the app it told me that my device wasn’t guaranteed to work (iPhone 11). Also you have to buy thier starter kit and I’m not I trust that’s enough. I’ll think I will uninstall this one…
I already know when I get good spin, don’t need the number to go with that…

The accuracy of the Spinsight measurement should be better than +/- 5% and with decent lighting estimate for +/- 2.5%
