TO in deuce never worked for JNT for some reason. To be honest, it gave LGY some breathing room.

Best backhand in the world, how about the best serve in the world. No one has solved Harimoto's serves, Xu Xin the closest to doing so. So many second-ball error from the opponents, so many third-ball attack opportunities for Tomo.

I agree, TH's serve looks simple yet ML and Lin both gave sky high return. He probably brushed with different part of the blade to create spin variation.

We used to say "China is a level above the rest of the world."

In maybe 2 yrs we will say "Haritmoto is a level above the rest of the world"

Just look at the gap between Harimoto and the next best player, it's like comparing the USA's military to the next best. The gap is there and is widening.

Harimoto still needs to work on controlling his pace.

LGY still true to his name "Lin Meimei"(Sister Lin)...

Should've been 4-0...

it's all about the consistency now. The ceiling is set, but can he keep up? Sometimes he plays like this and sometimes Hugo Calderano 4-0s him. We'll have to wait and see where all of this goes.

Consistency improves with mental strength and age. At 15 Harimoto possesses the mental strength of a 21yo. When he turns 21, he would achieve what ML achieved in 2016.

Unless the rest of the world can produce another genius like Harimoto.

%cough% Miu Hirano %cough%. But I guess the hype is too big right now to assess what's happened rationally. If I were to bet my house on this, Fan Zhendong is the heavy favorite to collect the prizes in the next 5 years.
