Choice between T05fx, rozena and T19

Hi everyone,
I have been playing for the past year with a maze advance blade (all wood), a T05fx on my forehand and a rozena on my backhand (both 1.9mm). I heard a lot about T19 being a great rubber, and wanted to have your opinion on this rubber compared to the two others mentioned.
I'm a left-handed player who plays with a lot of touch and feeling, a great serve, spinny topspins and I like to play 1-2 meter far from the table in topspin/topspin, or sometimes looping. I'm not so aggressive but play a lot more with my forehand than my backhand when being aggressive.
Thus, in your opinion, which rubber would suit my game the best way ? I would need to have something with a bit shorter trajectory in forehand, as some of my countertopspins go out of the table even when playing safely. I would also like to have a bit more control when receiving serves.
On my backhand, I like to have great feeling with control, and don't hit so hard but prefer to generate spin.

You have a great combination for a bat that even a well advanced player can play.... I slapped a sheet of 05FX on my FH of my wood blade and it is almost like a cheat code does everything so damn easy... I only need to be in position.

If you have the funds or can borrow someonez bat with the rubber you want, that is the best and free way. You also get to know and feel it right there and then... which makes it easier to know if it iz for U.

You already have God Level set-up, why tinker with it?

Nothing is wrong with your equipment. It's more than good enough for your playstyle so fat. 05FX is great for everything, it's not losing out to any rubbers. Heck, it's more forgiving. No need to change here. Sameg goes for Rozena. It has enough spin, ZYl used to use this and she was world #1. Don't think you need anything spinnier than Rozena for your backhand as Rozena's control is out of this world.

That’s why I was wondering whether T19 is less sensitive in the short game, as it has a longer dwell time.

I am another person who says, do not mess up with what is good!

I mean, if you feel like your play is being slowed down by your rubbers, then go up to 2.1mm. I might go up to 2.1mm on Rozena first before you go up to 2.1mm on the Tenergy.

Always always only make one change to your equipment. Many many people change the blade and the rubbers (both sides of rubber too!) and then they wonder why they suck for a while. Come on! You are changing the whole set up!

Changing too many things at once will make you upset and take the fun out of EJ'ing.

If you really really must, then change T05fx to T19. But leave Rozena alone! Don't touch the Rozena side.

I seriously doubt it has longer dwell, What you want for a more secure short game is to go up in hardness so that the ball does not sink into the sponge and also less catapult. T19 should be harder than T05FX so maybe.

You also have Nittaku Hammond Z2 where you don’t need to change your style from Tenergy, but it has lower spin capabilities.

I can tell you one thing, T05 screwed up my FH. I used to hit outside the table and miss my short game both ways. I switched to H3 and it was a game changer. I am now so comfortable I can almost hit with closed eyes. The only thing is from position 3 it’s a dog and that’s where T05 shines. I don’t spend much time in position 3 so I can live with this.

Of course a Chinese rubber will fix this. You start at the bottom and work your way up…

Well, Hybrik MK seems to be similar to T05fx, so I will probably keep the same rubbers on both sides

Try Rosen in 2.1 mm. Its not as pricy as Tenergy, Rozena's hardness is below Tenergy 05 but harder than 05FX. It might work. You will notice a decrease in spin, but with proper technique you will adapt and improve in short game.

for my game rozena 1.9mm does not work on the BH, it is too lively (or bouncy) but I just learn to like it on my FH where it is nearly as good for me as the Loki Rxton 3 PRO.
(P.S. I really would like to know if the " PRO" stands for provincial or professional )😁

What’s the real difference in terms of control, speed and spin between both rozena 1.9 and rozena 2.1 ?

I have played with many sheets of Rozena, 1.9 and 2.1 on many blades. The difference is minimal. Don't overthink this.

If you want to know how Rozena works on FH, flip your paddle over and try it on the FH.

btw, the Tenergy closest to Rozena is T80. I have T80/Rozena on one of my paddles and can play FH/BH with either one with minimal adjustment.

Good advise . 0.2mm is so incredibly thin it amount roughly to the thickness of 2 average papers. Unless one is experienced with at least some calipers with digital readout , such a tiny thickness is difficult to visualize.

My experience with Rozena is limited to the 1.9mm but I assume control , like with any other rubbers will be less , the thicker the sponges are.
