Hmm. No matter how I see it, it's Korea that gets to send 2 teams for XD. Look what they did at WTTC 2018 and then the IOC's introduction in the opening ceremony...NK is team CNT+.
Now instead of sending only one team per country, CNT gets to send 1.5 team for XD.
he thinks timo uses dry boosting, like those russian table tennis players at the olympicsC'mon, all top rubbers is factory boosted. Do you think Timo plays commercial rubber from the store or it's very special directly from factory?
damn good strategy too.Sent by Truls 😉

Lucky him as their government is considering removing the waiver. So Lim now officially avoids military service with his OG medal
When you play many events, you also lose the element of surprise and people learn to do what works against you. But it is an interesting question for sure.View attachment 31222
Could Kim Kum Yong and Ri Jong Sik have won many WTT Tournaments if they participate?
In the post-match interview, WCT/DHK said they lost the initiative and praised LJH/SYB for responding quickly to their adjustment in tactics in the subsequent games.XD Bronze Medal Match
LJH/SYB (3) 4-0 WCT/DHK (4) (5, 7, 7, 12)
XD F
WCQ/SYS (1) 4-2 Ri Jong Sik/Kim Kum Yong (16) (6, -7, 8, 5, -7, 8)
As NextLevel noted, they may win a few times initially but after that, the other teams will adapt.View attachment 31222

I also think that Dima has a lot to say in German TT association and probably this is also his last Olympics, so they let him go. The gap between him and Franziska is not that big to make him exclude from singles. Anyway this is just my opinion that Franziska could perform better.Sure but the perspective of Rosskopf, and the German establishment, is that Dima tends to rise to big occasions and that is why he has two bronze medals - anyone remember that lots of top players have struggled with Kiril this year but Dima still managed to win. But I have made my opinions elsewhere and I don't want to make it sound like I am not a Franziska fan, but the gap between the expectations they had for him from his junior days to his current performance is probably still working against him. He just shrunk away from the big moment so much that people lost confidence in pushing him for the big moments. I sometimes point to how Franziska played during the Teams tournament in Busan.
Dima has Felix next so he has already performed to seeding. Hopefully they will clean up the criteria but Germany has a very tough bar to hurdle in men's teams.
And I hope the US government would lift the sanctions and stop the provocation through its neighbors South Korea and Japan. However disliked he may be to some people, Trump did ease the tension (however little) with North Korea.kinda hope PRK reach the finals, goddamn it Kim open your country for these talents to compete more
For starters, the United States’ unilateral sanctions against North Korea are just a piece of the puzzle. The bigger economic weapon against Kim Jong Un’s regime comes from a network of sanctions that involve countries other than the United States.
"North Korean sanctions have a broad, vital multilateral component empowered by a series of increasingly strong United Nations resolutions," DeThomas said. "The key to successful sanctions there is to get the multilateral sanctions tightened."
By contrast, the rest of the world essentially ignores the United States’ sanctions against Cuba.
Not exactly the same, but it’s a bit like Ronaldo (cr7) was selected to play for Portugal at Euro when he was 39 and had declined significantly. He’s the living legend, so people couldn’t or didn’t have the courage to leave him out.I also think that Dima has a lot to say in German TT association and probably this is also his last Olympics, so they let him go.
