well beijing allowed for 3 players per country, im sure that if 2012,2016,2020 and 2024 had allowed 3 they also wouldve swept all singles medals

I don't know man, I don't dispute other parts of what you said, but I've never felt like Shasha carried WCQ in mixed doubles I'd be honest. He may not have been in his top form but that doesn't mean he was carried. I didn't see Shasha finishing points and telling WCQ to put the ball on the table.

WCQ played like crap throughout the Olympics. Some Weibo users posted the XD stats and SYS got most of the points whereas WCQ dropped the majority of points (see quote 1). Even a renowned reporter 李平康/Li Pingkang posted on Weibo criticizing how bad WCQ played throughout the XD event and if not for SYS, they could've lost in the R16 and QF (see quote 2). Seems the other youngster may be XP. For more confirmation, see y'all in Taiyuan!. One thing's for sure though, XP has cashed in a lot of wildcard spots for the next 1 year.

From the number of events in 2025 among XP, CYY, HYZ and XYB, I get the sense that CNT had their eyes on CYY and HYZ by giving them the Asian Cup 2025 to experience, after giving XP and XYB the ATTC 2024. WTT CS Incheon 2025 was the final major checkpoint for XP and CYY, like how Asian Cup 2022 was for WYD and CXT.

For World Cup 2025, it's LSD, WCQ, LJK, LGY, and HYZ. Depending on the circumstances, for WTTC 2025, they could go with LGY for some safety (in terms of experience), or XP if they feel adventurous.

but home WTT contender - and giving the young guns a run for the "Quest" as you love to call things nowadays, loose so far 3 titles (ms, ws, xd) of this "Quest", do you still think the next gen is still not a concern?

I remember ML had issues flying to the event and arrived late. CCY gave this as a reason for his poor form in that match. Such things never enter the historical record for obvious reasons.

Are the coaches in other countries not aging? What's this zero sum vapid approach to competition. You've remained oddly quiet and out of character when they swept up all the tournaments, and now you've popped up - true to character- when they didn't win one tournament. Surely you have no agenda. A truly honest man.

and yes, he was the VIP with Ma Long and LSW in the USA recently.
He is a very friendly person, and I was told that he actually gave many kids tip during the recent visit.
