  1. Fang Bo Carbon Review - Best blade ever, ask me anything!

Haha, well I also considered getting the B2X, but I went for the B2 because I wanted FB's photograph on my blade. But I guess now I got over the initial shock of not getting it.
  2. Receieved Fang Bo Carbon, but no photo of FB

I agree that on slow/medium shots this blade is similar speed to MLEO, but the MLEO tends to top out on hard/spinny topspin shots. The B2 has more gears and can produce higher speeds on the top end. I also think B2 has better overall control than MLEO.

I posted my comments in another thread. Take a look there.
  4. Fang Bo Carbon Review - Best blade ever, ask me anything!

I tried my new Fang Bo Carbon/Hurricane Bo 2 today for the first time. I had boosted H3N commercial on FH, and old Tenergy 05 on BH. Blown away by it, because it is the best blade I have ever tried. I own V14 Pro, Sanwei CC, TB ZLC, Yasaka Ma Lin Extra Offensive, Sanwei 75 ALC. Have also played...
  5. DHS hurricane 301 help

As I said, unboosted H3 is really really slow. I'm not surprised that it was hard for you to play. Without boosting, I highly recommend Bloom Power. Its very tacky, but also very fast out of the package without booster. Its fast but feels controlled and linear. Big Dipper is fast too, but...
  6. Experience with some other Loki rubbers - Arthur China, GTX Pro (inc)

GTX is definitely less spinny than H3 or Battle 2, but I don't find it to be unspinny. Maybe the trajectory is slightly flat, but I didn't find it unmanageable, and I didn't even think of it until you brought it up. Maybe I'll try it again today. I'm surprised that you like the Arthur China. I...
  7. Receieved Fang Bo Carbon, but no photo of FB

I'm a little confused, you said its a fast blade, and you said its OFF+, but you also said its slower than Pro 01. I don't think Pro 01 is considered a very fast blade. I have Sanwei 75 and V14 Pro to compare.
  8. Experience with some other Loki rubbers - Arthur China, GTX Pro (inc)

Which is tackier? The GTX or the Rakza Z? The GTX is slightly tacky, but even less tacky than rubber like Big Dipper.
  9. Butterfly Ai Fukuhara Pro ZLF

Didn't you see the other thread with the guy selling it?
  10. Experience with some other Loki rubbers - Arthur China, GTX Pro (inc)

One thing I like about these Loki rubbers is that they have little marks on both sides of the rubber to let you know where to line up the edge of the rubber with the wings of the blade.
  11. FS/FT Butterfly Ai Fukuhara Pro ZLF

I think Harimoto used to play this blade before, isnt that right?
  12. DHS hurricane 301 help

Are you using the same H3Neo sheet from your old blade? or did you open a new package of H3N? H3N is really really slow out of package IMO. Booster really makes a difference for H3. 301 is a really popular blade with mostly positive reviews, so its hard for me to imagine it being slow. I have...
  13. Question about stretching rubber on blade

I've heard some people recommend pulling the rubber to stretch it out as you glue it onto the blade. I do this occasionally when the rubber isn't long enough and I try to cover the length of the blade. Does this stretching make the rubber bouncier/faster?
  14. Question on Asia series of Xiom Rubbers

Loki Arthur follows a similar naming convention, with Arthur China being the tackiest, Arthur Asia being semi-tacky, and Arthur Europe being least tacky.
  15. Receieved Fang Bo Carbon, but no photo of FB

I will test the B2 in the next few days. I can compare with my other blades such as V14 Pro, CC, TB ZLC, 75 ALC, Ma Lin Extra Offensive. My guess is that it is most similar to the CC, but we will see.
  16. Intresting chart for DHS/Nittaku rubbers! Spin and Speed chart!

I find it surprising that they list H2Neo as being way spinnier than H3N. I thought the whole point of everybody choosing H3N was because of its unmatched spin.
  17. Intresting chart for DHS/Nittaku rubbers! Spin and Speed chart!

Yes, the vertical axis shows speed. Horizontal shows spin. Then it shows the options for sponge thickness and hardness.
  18. Experience with some other Loki rubbers - Arthur China, GTX Pro (inc)

Looking forward to your findings. My ultra thin layer completely changed the feeling and bounce of the rubber, so I'm considering if I should put more booster on it. Maybe your 2 layers produces even better results.
  19. Experience with some other Loki rubbers - Arthur China, GTX Pro (inc)

Imagine if you take a wet towel and place it down on concrete ground then pick up the towel. That was about the same amount of booster i put on the sponge.
