  1. Butterfly Zyre 03

Most players are going to and should unapologetically hate the rubber especially if they are coming from 09C. The rubber is basically pro-level hardness and if you don't boost, I am pretty surprised what you get for that. The closest comp I can think of right now is Tronix ZGR. Don't get me...
  2. ITTF-ATTU Asian Teams Championships 2025, Bhubaneswar, 10/11-15

Table one has some enthusiastic commentators. I suspect this event is going to be fun lol.
  3. Does Wang Manyu have any flaw?

Does she have a World Cup? "If she can stay healthy" is a big ask...
  4. Butterfly Zyre 03

Spin test was good - this rubber has to be extremely catapulty on hard hits to present the problems that people have been making noise about in the reviews... feels like it is going to be a brush monster rubber...

Your reward for winning the last team event? I present to you: DPR Korea!
  6. ITTF-ATTU Asian Teams Championships 2025, Bhubaneswar, 10/11-15

Never let anyone tell you that seeding doesn't matter...

Poor Zeed, I wonder what happened to it....
  8. tried out a clubmembers setup and now i am a bit confused

This is true but to some degree misses the point. The point is that very often, using another blade just feels better, but after a while, the feel becomes the same if you get the blade as your own. This is very different from a blade making you enjoy playing more, or a blade helping you hit...
  9. Butterfly Zyre 03

Just picked up my sheets. Now have to glue them and practice with them. But I won't get to play until a tournament tomorrow. Will I be crazy enough to play with the setup without practicing? Stay tuned lol....
  10. African Table Tennis Championships-2025 (12 - 19 October 2025)

I follow this tournament fairly closely. Quadri has already withdrawn. So Egypt is clearly in the driver's seat. Nigeria has some young talent but how well they will fare in this event is yet to be seen.
  11. Viewership numbers

Nah, most of them prefer pickleball to table tennis.
  12. Does Wang Manyu have any flaw?

Vicious lefty look serves are everyone's weakness lol.
  13. Viewership numbers

To piggyback on this, i believe Adam Bobrow's video editing operation is based out of Chinese Taipei (can't remember why I think this, probably something or someone he introduced in a video, but something made me do it). So obviously the players can be helped with the right support.
  14. Viewership numbers

Nah, the synergy with tennis is significant. There are backers. This sport is growing. Not going away as it has distinct advantages. There are even articles about other similar if not quite the same racket sports doing well all over the world like Padell.
  15. Viewership numbers

You are their agent no? Its another opportunity for you....
  16. Does Wang Manyu have any flaw?

She used to play her forehand way too vertically. It is better now but it is also much more obvious watching her in person that she sometimes adds too much spin rather than going through the table with the ball.
  17. Viewership numbers

But that is a part of the reason why TT in the USA struggles. Players are largely unwilling to pay market value to support it. Pickleball players so far don't have that problem though they do have the advantage of being able to borrow public courts but that doesnt explain the religious use and...
  18. Viewership numbers

Okay. With pickleball, the marketing just made people start watching the sport and pros started playing tournaments. It had clothing to do with more players playing the sport and reporting positive experiences. Its really interesting how things work when people look at the current year to...
