You can buy these things at Home Depot or on Amazon. They are awesome. They are cheap. About $10 for a case of 48. You don't get glue on your fingers and the handle on the brush gives you a lot of control, more than you ever get with the clips. Also the shape of the sponge gives a really even layer of glue on the rubber or blade. It is like the things were made for table tennis. If Butterfly sold them they would be $5 each.

You can get them here. http://www.homedepot.com/p/Jen-1-in-Poly-Foam-Brush-48-Case-4251/205034118

I have a friend who showed me how he uses small pieces of cardboard from the packaging of the rubber to spread the glue. But darn he has steady hands. I am not so sure I could do what he does.

Looks like a good brush. But can you reuse it?
Guess it depends on what glue you use.
The Tulpe glue is so thin you have to be super careful what ever sponge, brush or cardboard (I use the packaging to) you use. Its good value for your money as you need so small amounts to cover your rubber and blade. But! It gets everywhere! Makes me crazy after gluing 2 rubbers on. My fingers look like they have the chicken pox! :(

Going back to the old Victoria glue that has a brush neatly installed inside the cap. Costs a bit more for each layer, but there is no hastle with it.

It's too expensive for what it is, considering they are non reusable as you can't clean the glue off as it hardens. Another big disadvantage is they absorb too much glue before they start laying it down nicely which is ok as long as you are not using it with 50ml overpriced butterfly glue
On the other hand they are great for painting and they are easy to clean with thinners, I use nothing but paint brushes and rollers to paint cars, parts, wood etc..

So erm yeah, overall they are great and I use them to reglue my rubbers, but I just get free foam (local tip, mattress store etc) now and make my own brushes. You don't need the handles, reuse the old ones or make some from branches. Just make sure you invest in lots of Copydex

You get 48 of these foam brushes for $10. That is a little more than 20 cents apiece!! Put this in context. Last time I changed rubber, I paid $130 for two sheets of Tenergy which I then put onto a fairly expensive composite blade. Frankly, given the price of modern rubbers, as long as I get an excellent glue job, I don't really care if I can reuse the foam brushes or not, so I didn't check if I could. I think whether or not you could use it would depend a lot on what glue you used. Anyway, these things are really perfect for applying TT glue, like I said, awesome control, you get a very very even layer, and it is not messy. The handles are in fact a big part of what makes them good, it is part of what gives you a lot of control in applying the glue very evenly and quickly.

This aint the speedglue version according to the site. (They have that to)
Victoria contains voc but from what ive heard the amount is so small the "effect" is unnoticable within 5 days. After 5 days the voc smell also goes away. :)

When gluing with Victoria you'll have to glue every other day to retain the SG effect..

Win - win.. :)

Of course this sounds nothing like Swedish or Norwegian but funny. Maybe he is speaking Skansk.

Many swedes and danes have problems with norwegian language, dunno why but it's like that :p

Funny vid, but as you say, no scandinavian language there, just english with a twist :p
