Things haven't been going her way since the later half of 2017, losing her coach Zhang Cheng was a big blow to her. Graduating from the JOC Elite Academy 1 year early and turning pro was a much needed and wise decision as she said she didn't have enough time to train, unlike Ito and Ishikawa.

Perhaps she's just grown upwards an inch...
Speaking of which, I didn't realize that, aside Hayata, Japan's women were so small like 1,5 that made me more impressed cause I think you need to work much more against someone 10-20 cm taller (normal taller) than you. And to (almost) beat them, and them being China, incredible.

P.S.: not that Japan isn't incredible itself, I just think "size meters"

The entire Japanese team has put on nail polish? I thought there is a rule that prohibits it for those under 20.

In Japan? Cause I think if you are outside your country the homeland law doesn't apply or does it?

Yup. I read that in an interview. Japan is really strict with what others may call minor issues. China used to, as well. The argument is that they're representing the country.

Wow, interesting, I thought this was like a law. Japan always amazes me...

It was nerve racking. Kim has pushed Ishikawa to her limit.

Two very excellent players. Both are winners

Passionate about TT
