yeah its a great video, pretty amazing example of how insanely competitive it is within the Chinese National Team. Ma Lin the reigning olympic champion first lost to 18 year old Zhou Yu who just made it onto the A team, and then lost to Ma Long, and therefore he won't be able to participate in the world championships. Which is pretty crazy considering the fact that Ma Lin can still destroy every non-Chinese player. Despite his lose to Boll in the most recent match, I would still put my money on Ma Lin in matches between the two.

Totally agree, Its so tough,,, its looks like army based stuff towards the end... so strict and disciplined..

yeah that's pretty important. Everyone has good and bad days. But the point for the Chinese team is to find those players who consistently play at a high level that the chances they lose on a bad day are still small.

ma lin is definitely going to the wttc, he just didn't go straight through the trials. but based on his performance, i would say 100% he's going. the coaches would pick him anyways he's good
