Pitchford was up 5:0 and 8:4, before losing 10:12 in the 2nd game.

Down 0:5 in game 3, came back to lead 10:8, called TO, but...

Last game...Zhang Yudong totally owned...3:11.

Pitchford covered his middle really well. Had problem handling Zhang's serve early on but adjusted. His BH saved the day.

He did it! Oh man my heart was beating so fast as it was so intense. This actually reminds of Timo vs Xue Fei last year because it was in the same tournament and Timo was also down 3-1 and then came back to win 3:4.

Ito dropped 7 points straight from 4:2 in game 4, but managed to win the next 7 afterwards to take the game...

Mental breakdown for Liu Gaoyang after that nail-in-the-coffin game 4.

You can also say it other way. Ittf took all effort to make sure Mima Ito will not win this tour:
1 round Zhang Rui
2 round probably Liu Gaoyang
3 round probably Wen Jia
4 round you can choose betwen Wu Yang, Wang Yidi and Sun Mingyang
So she needs to take down all chinese girls to meet Kasumi in the final. Of course I know zeio see it in different way (lucky ishikawa):):)
I think it is just random selection causes this thing, they all played preliminary rounds so I do not see any unfair process. Of course if somebody likes conspiracy teories - there is not much to say.
2 down, 2 to go. If Ito could get past Wen Jia, she will have a very good chance beating Wu Yang.

If all goes as well, I expect our civil-war-expert captain Ishikawa to ascertain her role.

You know table tennis is doomed when a kid takes down a legend all guns blazing with a crappy FH.

Wen jia will not be easy but still I think she should manage it. Yes wu yang should be easier. Well the final can go both ways. Sometimes mima rushes to much and that is a good chance for ishikawa. Still if Kasumi change her mood for selfdestruct ito will win easily
