I think the JOOLA Zhou Qihao Super ARY-c 45 could be a model right in between W968 and Viscaria. Have you considered that one? Got great reviews too.
The denser Hyper ARY-c fibers in the JOOLA Zhou Qihao Super ARY-c 45 are aligned diagonally at 45 degrees, adding extra flexibility and balance. With more forgiving Limba outer plies, players can benefit from the power of Hyper ARY-c while experiencing a more sensitive and controlled...

I've since tried out the FZD ALC and the Q968. I'm gonna give the FZD ALC a couple months (1 month in thus far) and then probably the Q968 a couple months to compare. Right now I just have some temporary rubbers on the Q968 and I try it out here and there, but I'm using the FZD ALC as my primary. The FZD is considerably more flexible than my Q-series Viscaria, and I like it a lot more. I actually like the Q968 quite a bit even though I have the wrong rubbers on it making it too heavy and more difficult to use. I think those two blades are what I'm looking for, and I'll be picking between those 2.
For my style and preferences, I'm leaning toward eventually going with the Q968. It still has a sweet catapult when hit hard on the FH side, just not as much as the W968. I don't really care that much about the decrease in quality, I just really like the feel of it, how you really hit into the blade and it just slings the ball forward and even though you're doing a very hitting stroke it still creates a beautiful arc as if you were brushing more. Like the W968, it's much more fault-tolerant than the Vis/FZD in more brushing strokes. You really feel like you're holding onto the ball and spinning it up. Compared to the W968, the BH is a lot more crisp. However, like the W968 it's still very hard to get a cracking feel on the BH side. I do really like how easily it is to do a satisfying kill shot with the FZD.
IDK, as I continue to improve my BH and work it more and more into my game, maybe my preferences will change and I'll have a hard time letting go of the FZD's BH? Right now I'm still a more FH oriented player and prefer the massive FH a bit more.
