I have just the above to go on to a new blade ( hurricane long 2 ).
I would welcome any views on the pros and cons of boosting this rubber.
It seems the vast majority of players (including top pros) boost despite it being illegal
many thanks

The effect of boosting H3 is only really noticeable when playing topspin rallies away from the table. So if rallying is your primary point winning tactic, then go for it. Otherwise, and especially, if this is your first experience with an H3-like rubber, don't bother. You can always do it later.

Better boost, otherwise the rubber is far to undynamic for consistent topspin play. Even boosted the rubber is quite a bit slower than T05.
If you most of the time play a quick attack style and are used to chinese rubbers, than you can try unboosted.
