Dimitrij Ovtcharov stands victorious at the Korean Open 2011

On the 3rd of July 2011, the Men's Singles finals were held in Incheon for the Korean Open. The epic match took place in front of a huge entertaining crowd with host nations Lee Sang Su vs German's Dimitrij Ovtcharov. During the match, Dimitrij (Dima) proved his strength by going two nil up in games quite comfortably. Lee Sang Su fought hard however with Ovtcharov proving to strong and flying with confidence defeated Lee. Dimitrij Ovtcharov crowned the Men's Singles Champions at the Korean Open 2011.

This guy is a top bloke. He is one of the kindest and nicest pros and top players in the tour. I know that he has been sending equipment (rubbers, shirts, shorts etc) for over 4 years to help table tennis players in a very poor african country he met in China during the last Olympics... taking the time to post and send this stuff says a lot about the man.... Well done Dima!!!
