What an extraordinary point at 29:25.
After Feng's forehand the ball hits the net clamp on her side and then falls exactly on top of the net post, after which Hirano catches the ball over her side of the table. Double net is called and the point is awarded to Feng. Funnily enough, Hirano apparently wasn't aware that a net clamp is still considered net as she argued with the referee saying exactly that: "it hit the clamp!".

What's really extraordinary to me is that both players were ignorant of a basic rule of TT. The ball hitting the net twice is unusual but not extremely rare. I've seen it several times so they must have seen it several times also.

I can only assume that in practice they probably don't consider the clamp as part of the net, which in most cases is more fair.

Last thoughts for ZJK's loss: I believe that this emotionless behaviour is a defence mechanism from ZJK. He feels that he can't play well, so instead of giving everything he just plays like he doesn't care. He is afraid what will others think about him if he fails to beat someone when he seems to be on fire. He wants to look cool and loose but I believe he is very stressed and tense inside. But this doesn't change the fact that he can't play on high level.

I have slight feeling that Chuang has a chance against LIN ..
Probably he will still lose, but I think he has a chance.
As for Dima vs. Yan - I think Dima is finally ready for this match - as he is also ready for FZD.
I think at this tournament Dima can beat Fan.
For Timo - well .. Gauzy is his nemesis.. And Gauzy is playing so good.. it will be a very interresting and hard to call match.
Mizutani doesnt play well lately, I can see him losing.
I hope Freitas will give Xu Xin some pretty hard time ;-)
