Helloooo!

I've been playing for 7 years now and know in a general sense what I want, I have been looking at this for a while because the price is pretty enticing and seems to fit my demands for a more specialised change/upgrade, according to my coach's recommendations.

I've been playing with intensity nct, walnut outer play, spruce mid ply and ayous core.
Have played with viscaria in the past, but it felt a bit much with koto and outer alc.

The dhs is :
Ebony
Unknown Wood
Arylate carbon
Unknown core

The formula seems like a good upgrade to get some much needed power. I've been looking the last few days at inner carbon blades and hurricane 3 after my coach suggested that I play with it, I know the hurricane 3, I've played it for a while. Is the blade any good? Build quality and feeling? Does the carbon feel like proper alc?

Btw, I'm aware about the difference between red and black chinese rubbers and have found they also come with h3 black and h8 red, so I'm comfortable in that way.

Having that said, doing the math, it comes out much cheaper than if I get a custom racket by some 70 bucks, but what's the catch? Probably the rubbers are old? But boosting would fix them, so I mainly care about if the blade is worth it.
I'm on budget too and I'm done spending big cash for blades.

Thanks for any input.

The thing with premades, especially Chinese ones, is that there is no guarantee about any quality of the product. The rubbers are most commonly factory qc rejects with inconsistent thickness and hardness, and the blades are usually made with the cheapest woods with very poor build quality, thats how you pay less for these premades. IMO you are much better off buying an proven individual product like DHS H301 or Fang Bo B2/X instead of gambling on this thing

Alright, thanks for the heads up. I'll stick to mainline products.👍

Been recently in a similar situation . I was aware of the dangers that are mentioned in #2 but could not resist. Regardless of all the promises that the advert made, this unit was a complete dog but a beautiful dog 🤣
Yeah, that's what I want to avoid, I have 10 blades and I'm getting rid of one to get a pen YEO and start my journey there, but I saw this and thought that it would be a good upgrade until I change. I'll save up and just buy an innerforce zlc that I liked, there's also alc and alc.s. Even though I have no idea what's different between alc and alc.s...

ALC.S is a slower and more flexy variant.
I have one with a flared handle. It’s heavy 91g and has an itsy bitsy teeny wheenie handle. Except for this is alright if you like slow.

How's the handle on the zlc and alc? Is it the same with alc.s?

Ma Long will not be friends with you anymore...

Seven years playing and you are looking at pre-made?

What were you playing for the past seven years? Sandpaper? Garage? Basement?

Nope, just whatever looks interesting. From hurricane to tenergy, to long pips and now penhold. I like to find good deals and have fun exploring and experimenting!
