Korea vs China doubles
3-8 to 9-9 in the fourth but SYB/JJH weren't able to force a decider.
Not much hope left for the rest of this semifinal.

Save the reserves for a last stand at the Bronze match instead.
Shin was definitely way muted compared to when she played XD and singles. But confidence also accounts for a lot at these games. Win one match and their aura will change completely. Look at what Kaufmann's performance has done for Germany's morale. Everyone thought India would definitely be in the semifinals but now German B team has the tiniest chance at winning a medal.

Kaufman is legit, yhat girl knows how to redirect the ball with power on serve return, third balls and rallies, it will be interesting to see what Japan comes up with.

The skepticism that WCQ has been reaping at home in China these past few days coupled with his anger will make him impatient for tomorrow's team match and want to face Truls head on, whether it's for the sake of his dead Blade or to prove his own innocence, he's going to put up a hell of a fight tomorrow. It's sure to be a very close match.

It won't happen unless we get to at least a match 4.

He will only get Truls if China changes its order and I cannot see why it would be worth it to do so since Sweden has a strong doubles team.

I don't know the specifics but pretty sure the first two matches will be Wan/Shan vs Hayata/Hirano and Kaufmann vs Harimoto. After that, depends on nuances.
On the money

JPN is the ABC team.
Hayata/Hirano vs Shan/Wan
Harimoto vs Kaufmann
Hirano vs Wan
Harimoto vs Shan
Hayata vs Kaufmann

says Miwa does it!
I just heard Felix is switching to short-pips shake hand for bronze medal match. Must read the forum. Also will definitely not celebrate the bronze medal victory if it occurs out of respect for his opponents.
If your listening comprehension matches your reading comprehension, you may have just misunderstood your sources.

Shan lost both her singles so far anyway, so they sent Wan to play Hirano instead although I don't think it will make a difference. One of them will need to step up if they are to win bronze though.

Dumb Hayata is online again after two easy games.

Fortunately, Hirano is there to rein her in. Instead of serving side-topspin nonstop and then expecting to finish the point with a brain-dead loopkill, just serve more side-underspin and force the other side to take risks.

This could go to M4 and JPN is lucky to have won the toss.

Kaufmann is like a bigger Hayata to Harimoto. Loss is inevitable.

Harimoto at Paris 2024 = Ito at Rio 2016

Still immature to take on the burden when it matters. The calls to replace Hirano in WS are so shallow.

Harimoto is still an unknown given that she mentioned about almost losing to DHK at WTTC 2024, that she didn't have the strength yet to win all her matches before the final but she will work hard to make that happen here.

I see no reason why I am not allowed to talk about Swedens celebrations. Look at Zhang Jike, who celebrated just like sweden before and got fined. Liang Jingkun who got banned for a celebration less excessive than Sweden. I am not denouncing Swedens achievements. I am noting what I see and how they could be different
