WTT has had plenty of opportunities to take notes. Bundesliga, T-League, ETTU all have all had far superior production in the past few years. They aren't interested in improving and it's pretty evident, unfortunately.

The random table having audio is a bit annoying. At times there was only one active table, but the audio was set to an empty court.

I think HAYATA choked, she wasn't able to think clearly and find a tactic taking advantage of her opponent's handicap. She gave away a lot of points with early "unforced" mistakes in the rally.

As Ishida says, she is not bright. Hayata has mentioned multiple times she can only make up through hard work [1, 2]. It wasn't after Tokyo 2020 that she started to change her habit of hitting heavy shots and you can see that she still over-hits too much.

The world is lucky that DPRK is only playing two events this time. Absolutely robbed of participation if this is the level that they've maintained even after covid.

You didn't answer my question so you're wasting both of our times here. If a sitter comes to Hayata who is in a good position to hit the ball for a winner. Is it more dumb to:

1. Try to hit a winner or
2. Hit something else

I'm only responding to your specific argument about 2 crucial FHs (in bold no less). Why are you quoting your irrelevant posts from the past when you should be focusing on the actual words you used that I'm responding to?

The Japanese team shouldn't be that unfamiliar with Kim Kumyong considering she beat both Kihara and Nagasaki at the jr. asian championships in 2019, and she also beat Chen Szu Yu at the senior asian championships just last year.

Bit of a situation between Samara and Brateyko that was not handled well by the umpires. Brateyko hit a ball bending her upper body, Samara immediately lifted her hand calling shirt, Brateyko returned the ball disagreeing while lifting her hand, but Samara smashed the incoming easy, high ball and was awarded the point. Umpire didn't give a fuck , said to Samara "I gave you the point" and the match resumed. Replay showed no contact with the shirt. We really need the hawkeye asap. Match just ended with a win for Samara and Brateyko was clearly not happy discussing the situation with Samara.
