Curious what happened in the Lind match. Looks like we easily beat Freitas 4-0 which is pretty surprising.

Lind when he's 100% on his game is extremely fun to watch and it doesn't happen often enough due to his lack of consistency.

Did anyone watch the whole thing?

XD SF today followed by a number of R32 matches. Get ready for some soul reviving crowd cheering madness as the organizers cleverly placed Felix, Pavade, and Alexis in 3 different time slots to keep the energy flowing throughout the day! If Pavade gets past Batra, we're likely to get a Hirano/Pavade rematch.

He was just better although he was behind in G3 and turned it around. He struggled with Marcos' forehand shots, but anticipated them well in the end and won the rallies. No temper this time but pure focus.

I watched a bit of it. Lind played a blinder.

Lind was really sharp. No unnecessary shots, very focused from the beginning till the end. Freitas couldn't find a stable rhythm at all.
On the side note - rooting for the North Korean pair to win the XD event :)

So anyone watching PRK right now in XD still sold on the idea that Japan losing to PRK was due to some special technical failing of Hayata and Harimoto?
I'm watching. These commentators are making me lose the will to live...

The argument wasn't technical failures but is the more nuanced "Hayata is a dumb-dumb"

There were many arguments, turbozed. Ultimately, I just think Hong Kong is doing better now because in addition to finding things that are working,, they have far more information on this PRK team than Japan had. Right now, WCT is just spinning the crap out of the ball when he gets the chance.
