Felix needs to turn things around soon. Another Chinese blowout is going to be disappointing after the high drama we got yesterday.

TTD forum members annointed Felix as clearly the biggest threat to the Chinese a couple months ago so he needs a win here or people are going to feel a bit silly jumping the gun on that.

When you have Wang Hao, the maestro of playing penhold on both wings, as a coach along with being fully in form after a tough match against Harimoto, there's no way FZD would lose to Felix.

SYB 0-4 CM (-7, -6, -7, -7)
CM has dropped 2 games so far, 1 to Bergstrom and 1 to Eerland. Amazing DHK managed to be 2-0 up and had the lead in G4 at Tokyo 2020.
CM: If I can't be grand slammer, nobody can. SYS, I'm coming for you.

F
Starting to feel like the "real" final was yesterday vs Harimoto
Everybody WHO Has knowledge about TT knows that. Harimoto has recipes on FZD and still loose and then someone wrote here that FZD is not in great shape which is zero knowledge. I dont wanna be edgy. Harimoto was the biggest problem and someone wrote about it, sigma vibes

Felix and Alexis must learn the Fusion Dance!

3 years later, is there still doubt about Harimoto's progress?

If Felix doesn't get at least 3 games and a lead in G7, I'll proclaim Harimoto the semifinalist and potentially bronze medalist.

Before WCQ 2-4 Moregard
Which half do you want to be drawn? Top or bottom?
All: Bottom!
After
FZD: WCQ out? That actually makes it easier for me!
Those in bottom: T_T

Lot of new French fans got their initiation to the world of table tennis today. You're not a fan of TT until you've seen your favorite player have their hopes crushed by a Chinese superstar.

CNT fans excluded of course (but that side is no fun).

Former HKG player Tang Kwok Kei thinks that Calderano has the better odds over Moregard (6-4), noting that Calderano has the more solid game, despite Moregard having some highlights.

On WS, he thinks Hayata poses the biggest threat but so long as SYS withstands the pressure, there should be no problem.

Feels very much like FZD is going to take the gold. I do not think Hugo has the game to beat FZD. When it comes to Truls, I guess on this best day when FZD has finals nerves, he could have a shot at it, but I think Truls is just too content with reaching as far as he has already, to really "zone in" again.

But I hope I am wrong ... :)
