Recording a TT match

Hi I would like a recomandation about a video camera(camcorder) to record my self playing Table Tennis.Do you know any good one with a price under 100$?Thanks

you will need a camera, memory card and a tripod

USD100 is impossible.

If you have a smart phone (with good camera), or any digital camera.
I suggest you make a DIY tripod or buy one and film from there. and save up for a decent video camera later on.

Just like Tony said good camera is really expensive, I don't even want to say how much was mine. But new smartphones like Galaxy S3, S4, or apple i Phone can record much better than my digital camera, so you should try that way

Just to put things in perspective. I use a Digital 8 camera that I bought 10 years ago for 1000GBP. The videos from my now obsolete smartphone (Nokia N8) are of far better quality.

+1 on the smartphone suggestion. You can get a tripod adapter to mount your smartphone to a standard tripod from ebay pretty cheap.

I've just bought one, 5.00 GB pounds I also recommend the smart phone route, you can upload direct to YouTube too

Great suggestions made here. I would opt the smart phone route to. I use my smart phone whenever trying to correct a players technique, this is also helpful as you can playback in real time at the training.

I think it all depends how much you want to record and what you want to do with it. If you want to record your matches at a tournament I would suggest buying a handy cam as battery life and video files are produced a lot easier on these rather than digital compact cameras.
