Damn, even I could have scored more points than her against Ito.

Just gotta luv these "hold-my-beer"-type of posts...

Haven't seen you play yet, but unless you're not Korean National level you won't score more than two pts, even if you receive 7 handicap points in advance. If your regional or city level even less.

Second that. Mental game is so important.
The Mens final was a dissapointment. XX lacked the intensity he showed throughout the event. It seemed he too lost it like ZY mentally before the match. Somewhere down inside he knew FZD packed too much punch for him to handle and simply did not try enough.

Wang Manyu is actually one of the top performers against Mima Ito. They played 5 times in the last 2 years, she won 4 of those. She also doesn't have the advantage of being the more experienced player, like Ding Ning who has a comparable win rate against Ito. Saying "Mima won the last time they met, she must be a lot stronger" is obviously wrong. Like, Mima lost to Kasumi 0-4 the last time they played, having easily won against her in the 2 previous matches. Does that make Kasumi a stronger player? Find one person in table tennis world who'd agree with that.

Yup .. this is the point I was trying to make ... not Miu Hirano she did not beat the top three players .. Cheng Meng and Wang Manyu are really good but still the top 3 in CNT is Ding Ning, Zhu Yuling and Liu Shiwen in that order ...

This will shake CNT to the core ... and the good thing about this that the CNT knew about this threat but could not do anything ... I am hoping that Mima Ito will be able to hang on this level of play for sometime and I have hope because she is mentally so much more mature than the rest of the Japanese Team ( men or women ) .... I am very curious to see the response from CNT and whether Mima Ito can respond to it ...
The defining moment of this tournament for me when Mimo Ito kept smashing at Ding Ning and she literally fell back ...

If I were the Japanese Coach ... I would make a video short of that sequence and show to all players from here on till 2020 :) ...before their matches that is
2005 Men 's World Cup, Timo Boll beat Wang Liqing, Ma Lin and Wang Hao to take the title.

I watched the DN and LSW matches and MI always attacked their high arc open up by smashing or bh punch. Adding the mixture of over the table variation and ultra fast speed, Ita is so fun to watch and able to throw her opponents into hopeless state, like DN was basically shocked with Ita attack and just stood there and you can tell from DN face expression like, how did she attack like this!

WMY is different, playing men attacking style with more drive loop on both wings and step around to hit xc makes it more difficult for Ita to execute her flat attack.

Wang Manyu is the best female player this year from China, she leads the world tour ranking. She also is much younger than the other top chinese players, this is the future for China.

Do not use false quotes. At no time did I write what you quoted. Do not change my words to suite your narrative.

Unbelievable play from Ito! Someone said she's not using Fastarc G1 anyone confirm?

G1 doesn't play like that its too soft for pros, high high throw, kick effect, so when she punch it she will overshoot 2 tables. Maybe she has different sponge, but in Japan is fairplay attitude with equipment. In my opinion its not G1 but when Nittaku makes something like topsheet of g1 + very hard sponge. it will be best seller
