Hmm, now this is interesting:

rubber-tibhar-hybrid-k3-pro.jpg

TIBHAR Hybrid K3 PRO is the new rubber of the powerful K3 series, this new harder version (55º) adapts perfectly to the game of the uncompromising offensive player. With its increased hardness of the sponge and the consequent increase in power and energy, this rubber allows the player to act with even more power especially in the opening and when countering the opponent's attacking blows with extremely high quality and precision. The rubber also convinces when playing from medium distance with a high ball trajectory that gives you the confidence and control necessary to play with a lot of power and decisive topspins despite the greater distance from the table.

In serve/return actions, the high-adhesion surface gives you greater adhesion of the ball to the rubber, allowing you to generate significantly more spin and optimally prepare your game.

These qualities make the Hybrid K3 Pro a high-performance rubber that is the first choice of many professional TIBHAR players.

AVAILABLE IN JUNE 2024.
I was told that a new uncut sheet of K3 Pro is about 4g heavier than a new uncut sheet of K3.

A1 appears to be a very decent rubber in capable hands. I know two players, who are much better than me, who love it on their FH. One is a top 30 UK vet player, hugs the table looping and countering everything off the bounce. Another is a tall dude looping from half-distance and further. Both seem to like A1 because it is very dynamic and quite spinny (despite being not tacky at all). I tried A1 on the latter's BTY ZJK SZLC and it felt a bit too fast/too low throw for me. No tack whatsoever, even compared to K3 let alone K2.
We should make a Bluestar Thread up,it is really a good rubber and should be talked about more.
No it isn´t Tacky, but one of the grippiest rubbers from a Topsheet i ever tested.
I know it is a hefty price, but the NUZN or Genextion are in that same range and get talked about a lot more, does relly nobody play the Bluestar Series especially with a Hinoki or Hinoki Carbon blade?

Tacky is overrated according to some:

But it was known for a while that there are pros and cons. Did new less tacky H3 become less deadly and less spinny on properly executed loop? I don't think so.
I have been playing H3 on FH approximately since it got less tacky. I wouldn’t have it any other way. I have played with more tacky rubbers and yes they are an advantage serving, but nothing else. I think H3 is perfect as it is right now.

No, H3 was much better when it was tackier!

Nowadays, commercial orange sponge, there is pretty much no tack on the surface.

For provincial blue sponge, there is still some tackiness.

I have not bought any national version so that I am not sure.

When it was super tacky, yeah, it was kind of annoying to play with it for 2 weeks so the extreme tackiness would fade. But after those 2 weeks, I could play with it for 1-2 years without any more tackiness fading away. That's when the true power of the rubber showed itself! Tacky topsheet with the sponge boosted a couple times; it is hard to describe how good that combination worked together.

I find it interesting You like Sanwei Target so much. I played it brand new on my Darker 7p2a yesterday and I find it very dead and less tacky than my 2 month old H3 OS… Both of them similarly boosted.
It may need some break in but it is definitely a lot less tacky….

you are not the only person who does not like Sanwei Target National. @TensorBackhand does not like Sanwei Target National either.

I tried Sanwei Target National twice. Once about 2-3 years ago when I was using H3 commercial orange sponge. I remember liking Sanwei Target National at the time but H3 was so much tackier and the tacky top sheet along with the boosted catapulty H3 orange sponge kept me in that direction.

Fast forward a couple years, I started trying Sanwei Target National again because H3 commercial orange sponge totally lacks tackiness now. I found Sanwei Target National to imitate H3 provincial blue sponge very well.

So I tried the version of Sanwei Target National blue sponge from Aliexpress (older generation with blue and yellow packaging) and from Megaspin (newer generation with silver packaging). Both versions play about the same. I am happy with both.

I have gotten Sanwei Target National orange sponge from Aliexpress (the packaging is also silver, similar to the version offered by Megaspin, which makes the whole thing very confusing); I do not like the orange sponge version of Sanwei Target National.

As for tackiness, Sanwei Target National blue sponge is definitely tackier than H3 commercial orange sponge. Not sure if your H3 orange sponge is provincial or national or not. That could make a big difference.

My Blue sponge Sanwei Target National is definately NOT tackier than either Commercial nor Provincial OS H3 (not Neo). Blue sponge I have not tested yet. H3 Provincial is also way livlier... Since I didn't boost Commercial H3 yet I cant tell, but unboosted it is similar to H3 (but my H3 commercial is tackier).

No I'm with Gozo on this one.. Waste of time and money. Will use it a little longer it may wake up after some use...

Lol so it is Lazer, Gozo and TensorBackhand against me!

I think the thread on Sanwei Target National had another user who loved it like I do.

If I may ask, which shop do you source your H3 orange sponge commercial and provincial? this is a serious question. I have searched various places (shops on Aliexpress, Hong Kong, TT11 and Dandoy) and I could not find a single H3 orange sponge commercial that is tacky. It was not due to lack of effort on my part. That's why I left orange sponge to blue sponge in the first place. I don't even want to buy orange sponge provincial and orange sponge national at his point.

After that failed search, I went the direction of Sanwei Target National blue sponge and H3 neo provincial blue sponge 39 degrees. The top sheets for both are consistently tacky (I used to get my Sanwei Target National blue sponge from Megaspin but I recently switched my source from Aliexpress because both feel the same on my forehand. As for H3 neo provincial blue sponge, the sheets I get Aliexpress are pretty tacky. So I have not dared to buy from TT11 or Dandoy because I am very skeptical of how tacky the new generation of hurricane 3 is).

H3 from Tabletennis11 just about beginning of 2024, last batch OS in march..
National target from chtt.se (mocker) a little earlier (end of 2023) I like to remember.
Friendship Bloom power was tackier than both of these. I find it very similar (but more tackiness) to Target National maybe a little slower and deader, but it can be livened up just like H3. I have a few sheets of this one left too.

One thing, I find if You boost H3 too much the initial tackiness drops. But that doesnt last for long anyway.

My current H3 39 Provincial OS is ~2 months old at 4 * 1.5 hrs a week and still holds a ball ~1 sek when protected sheets are removed before session. (Of course it drops during the seesion). That is all I need (or want)...

Hurricane is not for me. The halfway house is what I'm happiest with I think. I'm guessing I was hoping for the magic bullet answer... 😊 Orrr someone to say don't worry you can buy it really cheap here...
I know its a old tread but..... K3 dies fast.
its the best rubber I ever tried.
but not economically viable.
I looked for many alternatives. but dignics 09c is the only one that gets really really close. and it will last a looong time.
so despite its 10usd more pr sheet its actually cheaper. and lighter.
