On Senigallia during training for EuroTop12 on Arezzo (Italy) 2007.Only 10 minutes. I think that my heart arrived on 200 bpm.

Hmm my best players Ive played is literally everyone in the top 10 in England, Ryan Jenkins, Gavin Rumgay, Marcos Madrid, Jimmy Devaux, Kou Lei, some top junoirs in Belgium and cant think of any more atm.

I played Danny Seemiller just before he reached his prime (I played him in 1974), not too long after he was in the top 50 in the world. I used to play with Eric Owens twice a week, I have played with Jim Butler many times, a couple of 2500 level guys at my club I get play with from time to time when they have no other option with someone really good. I played with Timothy Wang (2530) tonight! I have played Fan Yeyong (2700 player). But the best player I have ever played in my life is someone nobody has ever heard of, a member of the Chinese national mens "B-team" from my wife's home town. His name is pronounced Shui Tze, he is from Mianyang, in Sichuan Province in China. I don't really know how to spell it in pinying (the correct spelling of Chinese names in latin characters). This guy basically never got to play internationally, he was some sort of practice partner or something for the top guys. He is a left-handed penholder. I have no idea how good this guy actually is, but I had this really strong sense that he is better than any of those other guys I have played with. When I played with him he had been "retired" for a couple of months (at age 24 they no longer had any use for him) so he had opened a TT shop in his home town, but also told me he much preferred to play soccer for fun and the only reason he was a table tennis player was that his dad was a coach. Really nice guy. Smoked like a chimney. Awesome player. Simply remarkable. I remember the experience vividly. He did mention that he had beaten Wang Liqin once in practice.

errrmm, played a few i think...played paul drinkhall last week as it goes. who else..korbel two times, bratanov, andrei grubba (R.I.P) shibaev, kou lei, number 2 chinese player, but he is not in the national team for some reason, ovacharov but he played double against us..cant think of anymore really, but for sure more to come

I played with our country's ex national champion Mostofa Billah who is a ITTF ranked player but don't know his exact ranking. I think it is between somewhere 700-800.

I used to practice a lot with Marta Matsuda, who had once been on Brazilian women's national team. This was after she moved to Houston. Sadly, she now has a family and has quit playing.

I've played Timothy Wang, 2500+ USATT, and Mark Hazinski, 2580+ USATT, (both US players) in open tournaments. Of course they destroyed me easily.
