Yeah, Li Jiao made pretty cool upset, wov! :)
Too bad Solja plays LSW next round, that means she is out .. unless she will cause the biggest upset ever ;-)
And then two lefties, Kasumi vs. Jiao, hmm. interesting!
Too bad its going to be a sleep time for me when they play..

I cannot believe how Fukuhara could lost the match. She even had a matchpoint with FH topspin to finish. Seems she is more nervous then cryinglook Solja.

Nah, Solja started playing better as well. There was a comment Fukuhara made that let me know that Solja is going to be in the top 10 very soon. Fukuhara said that there was too much spin on the ball and she was unable to control it.

Nah, Solja started playing better as well. There was a comment Fukuhara made that let me know that Solja is going to be in the top 10 very soon. Fukuhara said that there was too much spin on the ball and she was unable to control it.
This might be the reason. I played same rubber as she for one year and only way to handle with spinny shots was to wait until the ball is high. While she always tries to play it right after bounce - this is very difficult and you cannot predict if the ball goes to the net or just above.
