Well I don't see anything wrong that something like this is going on one time in a year. It is even hard to admit that this championship's organisers knows better how to make a good marketing on this - attract spectators, TV. Even TV operators here knows that table tennis need to be recorded from the corner. ITTF aren't able to understand that even now...

This is completely true, though. But ITTF's dilettantism is a topic for a whole another discussion.

Personally, I've said this a couple of times before, corner angle should be a broadcasting standard. The view of the ball is too often obstructed by players' bodies when the game is being shot from the middle, plus the depth perception is reduced and ball arc is virtually imperceptible.
