He he real time translation for long and complex sentences are quite challenging, esp. for non-prof translator. Anyhow if one just paid attention upon her English construct, she's just fine but look affects the perception lol

No, the real problem is that she mistranslated the question to the players and also did not get the essence of their answers. Anyway, it is not a big deal.

Harimoto is getting used to FZD's set play in the 3rd game. He couldn't keep up that long in a rally in the 2nd game. Expect more intense matches in the future.

Wow! What a match between FZD vs Harimoto. Some exchanges are fantastic! The JPN team seems to be satisfied with Harimoto's play even he eventually lost in straight, but a very respectable defeat, moreover at his very young age.

Despite both finals being 3-0's I'd like to celebrate them for what they were - a festival of table tennis of absolute world class. Amazing games. Throughout the entire tournament for that matter, not just the final day.

Niwa plays well to give a good fight against the mighty Captain Long, succeeds to earn one set, which is also the only set won by the JPN squad. But that set won by Niwa also seems to wake up the Dragon from some sleep and plays fiercely in the remaining sets. A good match to watch again, the high pace of games make it hard to follow closely.

Congratulations to the Chinese men's team for defending its title.

LGL is so fun and so familiar with his former players (of course). He said ML is always uncomfortable playing Koki Niwa because he lost points which he thought he should win and he won points he thought he should lose
