ITTF says that Boll has to undergo intense training due to his loss against Mengel (is that correct) in the German Championships, while Ovtcharov has contractual commitments for his league I think.

Thanks for letting me know Such a shame they both can't attend. I wonder if this will help them for preparations at the WTTC or hinder it? I guess one advantage is that the Chinese players won't have played them in a while, the other side to it is that Boll hasn't played against the top Chinese guys in a while.
