I just got a new sheet of 729 Bloom Power and Palio AK47 Yellow.Â
Both are very impressive rubbers, especially considering their $10 price on Aliexpress. Bloom is very tacky, and can pick up a ball for several seconds. Its definitely faster than H3, maybe a little faster than Big Dipper and similar to Battle 2. I really cant see much wrong with it as a FH rubber, its just a great rubber for attack and spin.Â
AK47 seems very unique among Chinese rubbers. It is so soft and supple (like a tortilla), with a very thin topsheet. The grip is excellent, and has a quite elastic and bouncy characteristic. The speed is near ESN speed, and it really does have the ESN feeling. The sponge is not the big porous type like ESN, but a little cakey. Even without being tacky, its still quite easy to grip the ball and generate spin. Great BH rubber.Â
