For all we know, the ttd video could have been some strategic marketing tool, but I mainly just mentioned it to supplement what you said about how he is (most definitely) able to train at a higher level. Ugh! Gauzy lost his cool and mentally drifted after what he believed was a let. He makes some of the most entertaining points like Xu Xin and was playing intelligently, but lost his focus at the end.

I didn't see the let, Gauzy sometimes sees things in the heat of passion. There was a point in the German league where against Ionescu, Ionescu hits a loop that does the double happiness close to the net (hits the net then the edge) and Gauzy starts arguing that the second bounce didn't hit the edge, it hit the net post.

He played an excellent match up to that point, hoping there is a way to remediate this - up to that point, that was one of the most exciting matches I remember watching.

I'm not sure why Harimoto is even attempting to serve fast down the line to the FH sweet spot of right handed BH dominant players. Or even half long. That is precisely the most dangerous spot to place it. If he was putting reverse sidespin to make the angle wider against someone who is pivoting frequently, maybe it can be justifiable. But his opponents are not even pivoting lol. Imo just really bad tactics and cost him some crucial points in a tight match.

The correct place to serve for FH pendulum is FH short, BH short very wide, and long to elbow + deep BH.

Other players are getting used to Miwa's spin quality, and she doesn't have the tricky spin variations, and also is a bit too imprecise - saw so many balls where she was in the correct position but still mishit the ball.

Not just that, he needs to stop serving his usual sidetop/sideunder pendulum - that serve is just chiquita fodder at this point. Heavy pure under/no spin is the real chiquita destroyer.
