A lot of people will still call it sidespin but I'm convinced it's distinctly different.
In this video you'll see sidespin at 34 seconds in. Then they show corkscrew at 41 seconds.
The difference being side spin curves & reacts off one's rubber. Corkscrew reacts more on the bounce of the table and theoretically would not react to ones rubber because you'd be hitting the ball on the axis. I think it should be noted that it's probably impossible to give an exactly pure corkscrew ball but none the less, one can give versions of it that is really close.
This "Wiggle Wobble" ball that Brett Clarke & company do in this video is another example of corkscrew. They're just doing it in a lobbing situation vs in a serve.
I would say watch Brett Clark at the slow mo point at 1:03. Now imagine he's in a service stance instead. His stroke is kinda like the pendulum swing. That'd be a corkscrew serve.
