The first leg - Europe versus Asia 2011

The last two days have been amazing in terms of high quality table tennis and also for us guys, high quality streaming of table tennis! We must thank CCTV for the TV broadcast who bought us this amazing footage! Its expected over 7.500 spectators watched this event over the 2 day period in the Yue Tan Gymnasium.
The Hyundai Asia versus Europe All Stars Series ended with a Asian winning side who won by 6-4 on aggregate. Both days have been very successful for Asia as they took the lead on both days.
Europe tried there best with the new comers for Europe, Adrian Crisan (Romania) who beat Tang Peng and Thiago Apolonia (Portugal) beat Chuang Chih Yuan. Timo Boll beat Jun Mizutani to add a point to the tally but the World number 1 lost a second time to the superb Chinese star Zhang Jike 3-1. The other European win was recorded by Vladminir Samsonov who played tremendously to prove he can still beat the top 10 players by deafting Jun Mizutani of Japan 3-2.
