How do you re-boost? (Boosting 2nd time)

So it's been a month after i boosted my Hurricane 3 (Provincial Blue sponge) with 3 layers of Haifu booster. I am planning to reboost it one last time. Can i still re-boost it? if yes, how?

I never reboost, I use orange sponge, don't feel its necessary. Too much hassle. I play for ~6 months and then discard.

Take off the rubber, clean the sponge, add a layer and see how much it domes.
if it doesn't doom, then add another, it should dome by now.
and glue when it is ready
